We spent the day getting ready to make our trek over to Dallas until the baby comes. Wow. Just getting the laundry and dry cleaning done, clearing out fridge, packing my stuff, the baby's stuff, Riley Jane's stuff....geez. I mean, we could be gone for a few days (if he came right now and that's not happening) or two weeks! It's kind of like we were packing for vacation or something. We're excited to spend some time over at the McCord's before the baby arrives. Plus, it will give Riley Jane some concentrated attention before her world is turned upside down. Riley spent the day playing with her tea seat in the bathtub and mostly running around the house dancing. So cute in her leggings. She tries to give me the old "too tight" routine but I tell her they're not and she says "not too tight." and shakes her pretty little head. Today everything kind of sunk in for me. Yeah real funny. I know what your thinking. How'd it take her so long? She's huge. Well I don't really know but it has. I figured I better get the pack in play up in our room. I've sort of blocked out the late night feedings that will occur. At least I'll have something to do at 3am instead of blog (like now.) Anyway, back to the delayed "nesting." I pulled out the pack-n-play, dusted off some dirt here and there and set it up with a nice cozy horsey blanket (the one from Canton, Staci :) and a sleep positioner. Sat down to rest. Felt a little bad the p-n-p had been in the garage. But, he's a boy right? No time like the present to toughen up a bit. Then I was a little nervous about the mounted duck hanging on the wall in our room (that's another post) above the p-n-p. Billy said I was being paranoid about nothing. Hmmm... I guess little B Mac will like staring at the ducks. Here are some pictures of us from today.
