Laura, Lindsey, and me (+kids) went to the Grapevine Main Street Festival on Friday. We had lunch on the courtyard with live music under the gazebo and walked around. There was a huge sandbox, Lego Land, trikes, rides, games, petting zoo, pony rides, port-a-potties (yikes)... everything you'd expect from a great festival. Lindsey treated us to our first snow cone of the year which hit the spot on such a hot day. I thought it was funny they gave kids bright yellow LOST stickers. So, if you find a 2 year old roaming around by themselves and they don't have a yellow LOST sticker, you're not going to take him to the police?!? Riley Jane loved the rides and duckie game. Not a big fan of the Native American look-alike. Se asked me why he had black stuff on his face. I told her it was war paint. She said "Oh. War paint."
